Every round is simulated and recorded: who took the opening duel, who traded it back, who held the site alone. Tactics are set per map and per side, and afterwards you can read exactly where the round turned.

Careers run from thirteen into the late thirties and peak somewhere in the mid-twenties, so every signing is a bet on where a player sits on that curve — and every prospect is a bet on whether you can get them there before someone outbids you for the finished article.
Prospects arrive between thirteen and seventeen with their ceiling hidden. Scout them, interview them to reveal what they could become, then decide how many seasons you are willing to spend getting them there. This is a real tryout — the faint track behind each bar is the ceiling.
The transfer list runs on live auctions against other managers, and a finished academy prospect is worth something to somebody else. This is what a senior professional looks like once the ceiling is no longer a mystery.
Twenty-three seasons: a thirteen-year-old you gambled on, a player worth building a team around, and eventually a veteran whose legs have gone. He grows until twenty-seven, and from twenty-eight the game starts taking it back — a little at first, then faster every season. The face ages with him.
Wages, transfers and training come out of a balance, and sponsors are where most of it comes from. Better sponsors want a team worth being seen with — so how visible you are is a stat of its own.
